I’m getting antsy again.  Life in general, if it’s not constantly changing, gets boring for me, pretty quickly.

I’m very much looking forward to grad school because it’ll be something different.  Something to keep me busy and occupied.

I won’t actually be starting for almost another 5 months (wow–really? That long??) but I want to hear that I’ve been accepted so that I can register for classes and start thinking about it in more concrete terms.

I already know what classes I’ll probably be taking for the Fall Semester:

  • Theories of Composition
  • Modern Linguistics

They may not sound exciting to anyone else but I really loved linguistics in undergrad and while I don’t know exactly what the Theory class will consist of, I’m interested to see how it goes.

I finally applied for grad school.  The plan is to do a Masters in English.  It will probably take 2 years–classes Fall, Spring & Summer.  After that, I think I’ll look for a job teaching English as a Second Language.  If I can’t find anything in the area, or if something else has changed by then, other possibilities include: Continuing my education (PhD in English), looking for a job in publishing, living off of a best seller that I’ve yet to write, moving to Twin Oaks…

Ahh, the possibilities are endless.  A lot can happen in two years so really, who knows where I’ll be or what I’ll be thinking then.
